The management of Abia State Polytechnic has announced that the sale of forms for admission into the underlisted National Diploma (Evening) programmes of the polytechnic for the 2015/16 session has commenced.

Eligibility

• UTME candidates that chose the polytechnic initially as their most or more preferred choices
• UTME candidates who did not choose the polytechnic initially as their most or more preferred choices are free to apply for admissions.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ND PROGRAMMES

(a) SSCE/NECO/NABTEB/GCE O’L/TC II with credit level passes in five subjects relevant to the programme obtained at not more than two sittings.
(b) A pass at the final examination of Pre-Science and Technology of the Abia State Polytechnic.
(c) Credit level passes in English Language and Mathematics are Compulsory except where otherwise stated.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

Credit level passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and any other subject at credit pass level. Credit pass in any of the following will be an advantage;

Auto-Mechanic
Basic Electricity
Fine Art
Metal Work
Basic Electronics
Technical Drawing

Candidates are advised to ensure that they are qualified for the programmes they choose. The programme of choice should be clearly indicated, as provided for in the application form.

How To Apply

Abia state polytechnic admission application is online. Prospective candidates are to visit the application website www.abiastatepoly-edu.net where they shall generate a payment invoice. With the invoice and the sum of N14,500 payment can be made at the following banks and a pin obtained with which the applicant can complete his/her admission form online.
