UNIABUJA Academic Calendar 2014/15 [Adjusted Version]

University of Abuja, UNIABUJA academic calendar for the 2014/2015 academic session just got adjusted by the management of the institution. Check below to see the new changes effected.

Following the extraordinary meeting held by the Senate of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) on Thursday 12th February, 2015, some adjustment were made and approved on the 2014/2015 academic session calendar for regular students.
The adjustment goes thus;

FIRST SEMESTER 1. Saturday 25th February 2015 – Lectures now ends.
2. Monday 2nd March 2015 – Examinations begins.
3. Wednesday 25th March 2015 – Examination ends (3 weeks).
SECOND SEMESTER

1. 1st April – 2nd May, 2015 (4 weeks) –University Portal open for 2nd Semester Online registration.
2. 20th April, 2015 Commencement of Lectures.
3. 20th April – 1st August, 2015 (15 weeks Lectures)
4. 3rd May, 2015 – 11th May, 2015 (1 week) -Late registration to attract a fee of N5000.00k only.
5. 12th May, 2015- Registration closes (Portal closes for registration).
6. 6th May, 2015 (6 weeks after the end of 1st Semester Examinations – Senate to consider 1st Semester Results.
7. 8th May, 2015 – 15th May, 2015 – Add & Drop forms to be made available for pre- requisite courses at the cost of N500.00k only.
8. 18th May – 18th June, 2015 – Production of Photo albums and Examination slips on Departmental basis by levels.
9. 22nd June, 2015 – Distribution of List of registered students and Photo albums to Departments. Also, submissions of downloaded Examination slips by students to their respective Departments.
10. 1st July, 2015- Release of Provisional Examination Timetable for 2nd Semester Examination.
11. 13th July, 2015- Distribution of stamped and signed exam slips to bona-fide students.
12. 14th July, 2015- Release of Final Examination Timetable.
13. 13th July, 2015 Moderation of 2nd Semester question papers.
14. 3rd -8th August, 2015 –Examination for SIWES Students.
15. 3rd -29th August, 2015 -Second Semester Examination (4 weeks)
16. 19th August- 10 Nov., 2015 (SIWES)
17. 31st August – 18th October, 2015(7 weeks) end of 2014/2015) Session break
18. New Session (2015/2016) commences on Monday 19th October, 2015.
