Bayero University, Kano, BUK part-time undergraduate registration for the 2014/2015 academic session has commence.
This is to inform all the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) newly
admitted part-time students for the 2014/2015 academic session that
registration has commenced.
Management of the university implore all Part-time undergraduates to
visit the specified portal in order to carry out their registration.
BUK Part-time Students Registration Procedure.
A. Authentication
All students need to authenticate their studentship before starting the registration process.
Students need their (i) Application Number, (ii) Registration Number
and (iii) programme of study for authentication. Students are free to
choose their password at the point of authentication. After successful
authentication, a username is generated for a student.
All passwords must be at least 6 characters long.
B. Login
After successful authentication, students can use their respective username and password to login in order to start or continue with the registration process.
C. Registration Procedure
The registration procedure is as follows:
i) Profile Update: Students must first update their profile.
ii) Student Information Form (S.I.F.): After profile update students can generate and download/print their Student Information Form (SIF).
iii) Personalised Payment Invoice (P.P.I.): Students generate, download and print a Personalised Payment Invoice (PPI). Registration fess are reflected on student’s PPI, to be paid on presentation of PPI at any of the participating banks. The participating banks and account numbers are indicated on the PPI. Students must make sure that they pay the EXACT AMOUNT as reflected in the PPI. Students must also ensure that their Invoice No. (on the PPI), Registration Number, Full Name and Amount Paid are captured correctly on both the bank teller as well as any deposit slip issued by the bank. Any misinformation may lead to unnecessary delay in validating anf processing of payment. Payments are usually validated and processed within 24 hours of making payment.
NOTE THAT ALL FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE AFTER PAYMENT
iv) Student Payment Receipt (S.P.R.): After payment is validated and processed, students must generated and download/print Student Payment Receipt (SPR) as a proof of his/her payment.
v) Course Registration : After printing the SPR, students are to go to the Institute of Continuing Education for their course registration.
